Gershom Gorenberg is an American-born Israeli journalist and the author of four critically acclaimed books on Israel's modern history, in which he explores and explains the vexing religious and political conflicts that challenge Israel. He co-authored Shalom Friend, a biography of Yitzhak Rabin. Gorenberg is a contributing writer for The Atlantic. His op-eds have appeared in The New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times. He has contributed in Hebrew to Haaretz and Maariv. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife, journalist and playwright Myra Noveck. -

LA Voice believes all people have power and a voice. Every day we amplify that power by uniting diverse faith voices to stand-up for what their communities need, winning changes that improve the lives of all Angelenos. LA Voice’s organizing presence is based throughout LA County, across 5 county supervisorial districts and 28 strategic cities. In addition to this, LA Voice holds strategic power relationships with U.S. Congressional representatives, mayors and city councils of major cities within the county to facilitate a progressive racial equity agenda in the region. -

Shomrei Shirah, CST's choir, will combine with the CCUM choir and feature music reflecting on and inspiring gratitude. After the service, join us for a festive oneg. If you are able to, please bring a jar of pasta sauce for Elisha's Pantry's monthly food collection. -

As a consultant, she has worked with dozens of community-based and national organizations on research and initiative design, program evaluation, strategic planning and organizational assessment, professional and leadership development, and more. -

JCRC advocates for Jews to be able to live their own authentic Jewish lives and believe that by working together with other communities, the full vibrancy and diversity of Jewish identity will be embraced and celebrated. JCRC mobilizes Bay Area Jews and our allies to counter antisemitism and rising hate, advance social justice, strengthen civic engagement, and ensure a combined response to critical issues we all face. Tye joined JCRC as its fifth executive leader in April of 2020. Under his leadership, JCRC pursues a just world where Jewish identity is embraced, and all people can thrive. -
